NRMA President Wendy Machin said better policing of driver behaviour, driver training, safer cars and safer roads had all contributed to the fall in the NSW’s road toll.
Ms Machin said “We are reducing the number of senseless deaths on our roads and that is great news and There is no doubt that the introduction of tough drink driving laws, visible highway patrols, compulsory seat belts, fixed speed cameras and a relentless driver education campaign have all contributed.
